At the end of 2015, the total market value of the Foundation’s investment portfolio was $283,867,597, which represented a decrease of $7.9 million over the market value at the end of 2014. Grants made for the fiscal year ended 2015 were $12,394,935, which represented a 4.58% decrease compared to 2014’s $12,989,616. The Foundation makes multi-year commitments to its grantees. At the end of 2015, the outstanding grant commitments totaled $8,132,091. These payments will be made during the course of the next five years.
